This piece was a monster. I slaved many hours and completely chewed myself up over it, I felt like I had a midlife crisis every time I made more progress on it :faint:

It looks a lot different from the previous WIP I posted. I royally fucked it up and I ended up having to completely cover over it and repaint on top. And while I hugely regretted doing that, there's no point crying over spilt milk, you just have to keep on rolling. So I did! I also rotated it loads to get the angle right, and after a long time having it upside down, I decided that the original way up was best.

I also bought new yummy gold paint which reflects really beautifully when the light hits it (but also has the consistency of glue -____-). It accidently got left on the brush, because I carelessly forgot to wash it and it ended up drying rock hard and now the brush is totally dead. But it's ok though because I was going to get a new one anyway.
